About Us
The Sebastinian Echo is the longest running student publication of San Sebastian College-Recoletos Cavite City, Philippines, officially founded in 1987 to give way to freedom of expression in the campus. Through the years, it served as a catalyst for developing the journalistic zeal of participating high school students of San Sebastian. Some of the Sebastinian Echo's former editors are now in various positions in newspapers currently in circulation in the country.
Year 2000, with the opening of the school's internet laboratory, the assistant editor of the Science Section made a feasibility study for making the school's first student internet publication. Year 2001, after almost one school year in the making, the Sebastinian Echo Online Edition was finally launched, paving the way for Sebastinians worldwide to gain access to late breaking news and up-to-date information.
